Hmmm, that's odd...

Last night in the Tel Aviv airport, waiting at the gate for my flight to Philadelphia, I saw some strange looking Jews.
The men had the big black hats, white shirts, dark pants, beards. The women were in long skirts and covered hair.

But there was something not quite right...

The men were wearing suspenders and had matching (bad) bowl-cut hair. Some of the men had dark coloured shirts which is really odd. And the women's style of hair covering was nothing like anything I had seen in Jerusalem. It was more like scraps of lace clipped to their buns rather than the full scarves I usually see.

Then I realized they weren't Jewish.
They were Amish.

The best part was when I got closer, I realized the men were joking about getting mistaken for Orthodox Jews!
