Even as the ceasefire was being announced, protesters to the occupation of Gaza were out on the busy Rehavia corner on Saturday as we walked past.
We can only hope this lasts. Sadly, I am pessimistic about it all.
What really has been saddening me are the comments made by Canadians on the bottom of cbc.ca stories. I live in a far greyer world then many of those commenters. They must live in a far-off land where the neighboring country doesn't aim rockets at schools, or steals your home and opresses you into financial and social proverty.
Wait. That land is called Canada. Well at least the non-native part. I wonder what the native folks have to say about all of this?
